The cottage is a charming two-storey, two-bed maisonette on Topshams’ most prestigious street. It’s been beautifully modernised to a high standard and benefits from beautiful estuary views. The property has a large open kitchen/diner/lounge, family bathroom, and downstairs cloak.
Ideally located within walking distance of Topsham town centre and only 100 yards to the Quay. There are plenty of shops and cafes in close proximity, plus pubs and restaurants for your evenings’ entertainment.
The space
Spread over two floors the property has its main reception space (with a bay window) on the 1st floor to take advantage of the lovely views. This open-plan living space has plenty of room to relax on the sofa in front of the wood-burning effect stove, plus a small dining table and stools for meals.
The stylishly designed kitchen is off the main living space making for a sociable atmosphere. On the same floor is a good-sized double bedroom and bathroom. The lower floor has the other double bedroom and downstairs WC and a small covered courtyard at the rear for storage of bikes etc.
We have provided a travel cot and also 2 futon mattresses for additional guests to stay in the lounge if required with a wooden room divider located on the landing by the bedroom.
Guest access
Guests have access to the front door key which is held in a secure key box, so you can come and go as you please.
Other things to note
Parking can be found either in Topsham Quay car park (Pay and display) which is across the road or on the surrounding roads where you may find free parking. Please feel free though to drop it off and pick it up outside the house. Topsham Quay car park is a pay-and-display council car park but you may find parking along Holman Way which has no time restrictions or in Holman Way car park, also council-run. There is a washing machine on the property which can be used with a prior request.
When 5 or more guests are booked into the property, there will be an additional charge for cleaning the bedding/towels £15.00.
If the owner agrees for a dog to be allowed during your stay, there will be an additional nightly charge of £5 per night for each dog accepted.
